Artemis

Custom Landing Page Design

Project Overview

Artemis is a boutique apartment community located in the vibrant Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. Known for its proximity to popular restaurants, bars, breweries, bike trails, and natural parks, Artemis provides the perfect blend of urban living and outdoor exploration.

I designed a custom landing page to serve as a polished, user-friendly introduction to Artemis. The page highlights the community’s amenities, floor plans, and neighborhood attractions, while strategically incorporating clear call-to-action buttons for applications and resident resources.

Scope of Work

  • Full Custom Landing Page Design

  • UI/UX Design

  • Sections: Gallery, Amenities, Floor Plans, Neighborhood

  • CTA Buttons: Apply and Residents Page

Challenges

Balancing Simplicity and Detail:
Designing a streamlined landing page that provides enough information to attract prospective residents without overwhelming them was key.

Highlighting a Boutique Lifestyle:
The design needed to reflect the exclusivity and charm of Artemis while maintaining accessibility for its diverse audience.

Encouraging Action:
Strategically placing the “Apply” and “Residents Page” CTAs throughout the page required thoughtful design to ensure they remained visible and inviting without being intrusive.

Mobile Optimization:
Ensuring the interactive elements, such as the gallery and floor plans, functioned seamlessly on mobile devices was a critical focus.

Design Solutions

Brand Aesthetic:
The design reflects Artemis’s modern, boutique vibe while paying homage to its natural surroundings. A minimalist layout with clean organic lines and generous white space evokes a sense of calm and sophistication.

Color Palette: Blues and neutral tones paired with pops of black reflect the natural and urban elements of Ballard.

Typography: A mix of modern serif and sans-serif fonts conveys both elegance and approachability.

Imagery: High-quality visuals of the apartments, amenities, and local attractions immerse users in the Artemis lifestyle.

UI/UX Design Philosophy:
The landing page prioritizes usability, ensuring that prospective residents can easily explore the property’s offerings and take action. Key UX strategies include:

Logical Flow: Sections are ordered to guide users naturally through the content, from exploration (gallery and amenities) to decision-making (floor plans) and final actions (Apply CTA).

Interactive Elements: Subtle hover effects and transitions create an engaging experience without overwhelming the user.

Mobile Responsiveness: A fully responsive design ensures seamless navigation on all devices.

Landing Page Sections:

  • Hero Section:

    • A striking hero image introduces Artemis, paired with a short introduction highlighting the property’s blend of boutique living and neighborhood charm.

    • Prominent CTA buttons for “Apply Now”, “Lease Now” and “Residents Page” make taking action easy.

  • Gallery Section:

    • A visually rich gallery showcases interior and exterior images of Artemis, including the apartments, common areas, and surrounding scenery.

    • Interactive carousel functionality allows users to explore at their own pace.

  • Amenities Section:

    • Features Artemis’s key offerings, including ample storage, in-unit laundry, and pet friendly apartments.

    • Concise descriptions ensure readability and visual appeal.

  • Floor Plans Section:

    • A simple, organized layout displays available floor plans, with filters for the number of bedrooms.

    • Each floor plan includes details like rooms, bathrooms and square footage, helping users make informed decisions.

  • Neighborhood Section:

    • Highlights Ballard’s location, surrounded by popular dining spots and breweries to parks and bike trails.

  • Contact:

    • Quick fillable form for ease of use.

Results

The Artemis landing page effectively communicates the property’s boutique charm and prime location, while providing an intuitive user experience. Key outcomes include:

Improved User Engagement: Immersive visuals and clean navigation make exploring Artemis’s offerings easy and enjoyable.

Streamlined Decision-Making: The floor plans and neighborhood sections provide critical information, guiding users toward applying or learning more.

Enhanced Accessibility: The responsive design ensures a consistent experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Strong CTA Placement: Prominently placed “Apply” and “Residents Page” buttons drive user actions and conversions.

What I Loved About This Project

Designing the Artemis landing page allowed me to create a cohesive and inviting digital experience that mirrors the property’s boutique charm. I enjoyed crafting a balance between the simplicity of a landing page and the richness of content needed to showcase Artemis’s unique offerings. Ensuring seamless functionality across all devices while maintaining a polished aesthetic was particularly rewarding.
