The Davy is a student apartment community located in Knoxville, Tennessee, designed for University of Tennessee students seeking a modern, vibrant, and connected living experience. With a brand already established, The Davy required an engaging and functional leasing space and window vinyls to reflect the brand's bold energy and appeal to its student audience.

I was tasked with translating the existing branding into physical spaces and storefront designs that would not only stand out but also create a cohesive and welcoming experience for prospective tenants.

Leasing Space Design:
The leasing space was designed to serve as a functional and visually compelling environment that showcases The Davy’s vibrant student living experience.

  • Branded Environment: Bold colors, dynamic patterns, graphic elements, and lifestyle imagery from the brand direction was integrated into the interior walls, signage, and decor, ensuring consistency and immersion.

  • Student-Centric Aesthetic: The design emphasized a youthful, energetic vibe that resonates with The Davy’s target demographic.

Window Vinyl Design:
The window vinyls were created to capture attention and communicate The Davy’s unique lifestyle to passersby.

  • Bold Graphics: Eye-catching patterns and dynamic compositions reflect the brand's vibrant identity.

What I Loved About This Project

Translating the bold, student-focused energy of the brand into physical elements was an exciting challenge, and seeing how the design elements worked together to elevate the leasing was a fun rewarding experience.
